Medium: Watercolor
Mixing exactly the color you want is not random or by chance. In this 4 week course we will look to the Masters in watercolor (and other media) to determine their success in developing the right color for the right place in their compositions. From Zorn to Titian (and more) we will look at how and why their specific limited palettes produced such evocative results and how they created the perfect colors for their compositions. Students will gain ‘color confidence' as they learn the essentials of reading and matching tones, hues, tints, shades and saturation.
